    Seminary Education:

Located in St. Petersburg, Russia, the Biblical Theological Seminary is one of the only seminaries in Russia that
makes full scholarships available to qualified students, enabling them to enter into full-time ministry
    preparation.

In May 2006 the seminary inaugurated extension course of study so that elders and pastors from Eurasia's 11
time zones can study part-time and continue with their ministries to their local congregations.  Both programs
together include up to 20 pastors and elders in training at a time.   The seminary offers one of the few full-time
and thorough  ministry preparation opportunities in the former Soviet Union.  Students from all across Russia and
from other Russian-speaking republics have studied at the seminary.

    Distinctives:

           • Preaching the whole counsel of God to all of life's issues in order to bring all areas of life into obedience to
    Christ's commandments.

•Equipping Russian pastors to strengthen families by modeling the biblical vision of male leadership in the
    family and in the church.

            • Extending the kingdom of God by training faithful men to be church planters, pastors, and leaders of the
    church and seminary.

•Requiring accountability of all students to their local church leadership to live a Christ-like life and
    demonstrate faithfulness in ministry.

           • Placing worship and liturgy at the center of our curriculum and seminary experience.

    Theological Conferences:

SRS hosted the Eurasia-wide Pastors Conference for the past five years. Pastors, elders and laymen of all Evangelical faiths
come from all areas of Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine. This year we and the Presbyterian church of Russia will host "Bread,
Wine and God".  We will also celebrate sister church relations being formed between North American Reformed churches and
Russian Reformed churches.  We invite you to come celebrate with us.   See "Current News" for details.

Guest lecturers who have participated in these conferences are R.C. Sproul, Jr. who taught on Our calling in Christ,  and
James Jordan who taught on the Book of Revelations and Transforming the World.

    Church Planting
Reformed churches have been planted by men trained in the Biblical Theological Seminary in St. Petersburg, Pushkin,
Tymen, Kavalerova and Ussurisk.  The Galilee Church operates in a high security prison in the Leningrad region.
